- Open the WhatsApp app on your iPhone or iPad device.
- Access the tab corresponding to your profile photo, located in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Within the settings, select “Account” and then “Username” to enter the name with @ that you intend to use. It is essential that the name chosen has between 3 and 35 characters.
If you already have a username registered on Instagram or Facebook, you can choose to use it on WhatsApp, as the platform itself allows. This integration ensures that users with linked profiles can maintain their names already established on social networks.
