Another Samsung smartphone begins to receive the June 2026 security package. After being made available for the Galaxy S22 series, the update is now available for the Galaxy S23 FE. This update does not introduce visual changes or new features, but it is of great importance as it addresses several flaws and vulnerabilities detected in the operating system.
June patch rollout for Galaxy S23 FE
The distribution of the security patch for the month of June has started for Galaxy S23 FE models sold in India. However, there is an expectation that this update will be released soon for other global markets, including Brazil.
The new build, identified by the firmware “S711BXXSGGZF2”, provides solutions for a total of 45 vulnerabilities. These fixes cover holes in both internal programs and Android system components, significantly reducing the risks of unwanted intrusions, spyware attacks and other flaws that could compromise the security of users’ personal data.
It is important to highlight that the Galaxy S23 FE already operates with One UI 8.5, but is expected to receive the future One UI 9. This new Samsung interface is currently in the testing phase with the Galaxy S26 line, and its stable version should be released later this month, together with the brand’s next foldable devices, before being extended to other compatible devices.
Simple steps to install the update on your device
Galaxy S23 FE owners can check and install the update manually by following a few basic steps.
- Access the Settings menu;
- Look for and select the “Software Update” option;
- Choose “Download and Install” to begin the process.
It is recommended to download using a stable Wi-Fi connection and keep the device connected to the charger throughout the installation. The procedure may take approximately 15 minutes to complete. If the update notification has not yet appeared, it is advisable to wait a few days, as Samsung generally releases these packages in waves, depending on the geographic region.
