Presenter Sabrina Sato, aged 45, who is expecting a boy, caused a buzz and laughter on the internet when she released four suggestions for female names for her future baby, if it were a girl. The artist, who is married to actor Nicolas Prattes, 29, used the question tool on Instagram and responded to a follower about her choices for a possible daughter.
Among the options presented by Zoe’s mother, seven years old – the result of her previous relationship with actor Duda Nagle, 43 – were “Nirvana, Mina, Graça and Musa”. The list of names, however, generated an intense debate among users of digital platforms, with many differing opinions.
On X, formerly Twitter, reactions were varied, with one user commenting in a good-humored way: “I’m glad Sabrina Sato and Nicolas Prattes’ baby is going to be a boy.” Another internet user expressed nostalgia: “I miss when it was just Mary and Joseph”, while a third commented on the originality: “Rico has such peculiar names, right?”. The choice of unconventional names by public figures often sparks online discussions, reflecting the public’s polarization between valuing originality and preferring more traditional names, a common phenomenon when celebrities share details of their personal lives.
Another voice on the internet raised a practical concern about more elaborate names. “For God’s sake! When did people normalize giving such strange names to their children? I don’t know, children are without a filter, how much little ones are teased when they have names like that.
