The Anime ExpoJuly 7, 2026, despite its animation-focused name, surprised with a wide range of new content that went beyond anime screenings, including manga announcements, game demonstrations and in-person interactive experiences. However, the highlight of the event was, without a doubt, the debut of several trailers and videos of animated productions. Among the most notable reveals were the first glimpse of Witch Hat Atelier season two, the introduction of Star Wars: Visions Presents — The Ninth Jedi, the new Ghost in the Shell theme song, and, surprisingly, the use of Nirvana’s “Breed” in the opening of The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy at All.
