Japanese police arrested a 63-year-old farmer on Monday, July 8, in the city of Komatsushima on charges of violating the Traffic Code. The man had become publicly known after his aggressive driving actions were widely circulated on video-sharing platforms, sparking discussions about his behavior. His arrest occurred on suspicion of driving without a driver’s license.
Authorities revealed that the suspect was driving a car on a state highway in Matsushige-cho at around 9:40 a.m. on that same date. He was caught behind the wheel despite having his license suspended, a serious violation of traffic rules.
Before his arrest, Detran had already suspended his driving license, a measure taken due to a history of accumulated traffic violations. However, the farmer ignored the sanction and continued to operate a vehicle immediately after having his license suspended, showing disrespect for the law.
During police interrogation, the individual openly admitted the accusation. He made a clear statement to investigators, confessing: “There is no doubt that I was driving without a license.”
Sources linked to the investigation confirmed that the detainee is the same person involved in a case of “aggressive driving”. The local police were already investigating the driver for allegedly blocking the passage of other vehicles and for his reckless behavior in the same area, according to what was revealed in the videos.
