A recent video shared on Instagram by renowned cooking host Rachael Ray on Monday, July 13, 2026, has attracted the attention of her fans and sparked a debate about her appearance.
In the recording, Ray teaches his followers the correct technique for seasoning food during preparation. However, the attention of internet users seemed to be more focused on her appearance, with many claiming that she looked altered, and in a way that caused them strangeness.
“I didn’t even recognize her,” one fan commented in the post’s comments section.
Another follower expressed, “OMG I didn’t know who that was until I read her name.”
A third asked, showing concern: “What’s going on? Need a welfare check.”
A fourth person asked directly: “Did something happen to her?”
On the other hand, some fans came to the presenter’s defense. “You are so cruel! She is wonderful!” wrote one of her supporters.
“Guys, sometimes it’s better to keep your thoughts to yourself. There’s no reason for so much evil,” said another comment.

The last few years have not been simple for the beloved television chef. In December 2025, the presenter revealed that her mother had passed away, marking her first year-end holiday without her presence.
“It’s not the happiest holiday this year, but I still feel filled with gratitude,” she said at the time. “It’s just a weird time of year to be without her.”
Additionally, in August 2020, Rachael Ray and her husband, John Cusimano, lost their Lake Luzerne, New York, residence following a devastating fire.
Commenting on what happened, Ray stated that “We lost a huge part of the physical evidence that we existed, all the things we had created – paintings, photos and music, plus everything we had been gifted over the years or collected together as a couple; paintings made for us and letters written to us.”
This is not the first time that fans have expressed concern about the presenter’s appearance.

Rachael Ray kept her health private for many years. The only time details about her medical condition came to light was in 2008, when rumors circulated that she would undergo surgery for throat cancer.
However, her representative, Charlie Dougiello, promptly clarified the facts, stating that “Rachael is in perfect health. She will have a very simple surgery to remove a benign cyst on her vocal cords.”
The procedure was performed the following year, and the subject of his vocal cords has not been discussed publicly since.
