Unusual discovery: the rock that imitates a cream bomb
The person responsible for the publication was the user Kujihalua on the X platform. She is known for her passion for collecting stones and deer antlers found in nature, often sharing her collection with her followers. The stone that went viral is part of a series of exhibitions, as she herself expressed: “I will present some of the stones I have little by little, as inspiration arises.”
This specific piece, with nuances of yellowish-brown, beige and white, has a rounded shape that resembles a food. The striking similarity with a “cream bomb” cut in half, revealing a white filling, is so great that, from a distance, it would be easy to mistake it for a real sweet. Looking closely, the typical textures and irregularities of a rock are visible, but the first impression evokes a poorly made sweet or one covered in powdered sugar, highlighting the perfection of nature’s work. This phenomenon, known as pareidolia, where the human brain interprets familiar patterns in random objects, is one of the reasons why images like this capture attention and quickly go viral on social networks.
The fascination with rocks that resemble food
Kujihalua reveals that his search for curious stones doesn’t stop there; she has a habit of collecting any rock formation that, at first glance, looks appetizing. Among the items in her vast collection, the user has already displayed other stones that look like yellow peaches, stuffed buns, mochi and even cheese, all with impressive realism.
The repercussions of Internet users when they came across the stone “cream bomb”
The post generated a wave of comments on X, with users expressing surprise and admiration. Among the reactions, phrases such as: “This is delicious… without a doubt!”, “What an incredible cream bomb!!! Even the icing sugar on top is perfect”, and “I didn’t even suspect it was bread until I read the words”. There were also those who toyed with the idea of trying the rock: “If I had found this when I was a kid, I’m sure I would have taken a bite,” and “I would probably lose all my teeth if I took a bite without thinking, lol.” The authorship of the image was credited to Kujihalua.
