Google Pixel 11 leak on Amazon suggests higher prices and new color options
The next generations of Google smartphones may have had their details revealed in advance. Ads for the Pixel 11 line were briefly published on Amazon this week, but quickly taken down.
Fortunately, some users acted quickly and were able to capture screenshots before the information was removed. The details released presented a complete list of available colors, as well as relatively detailed specifications and the starting prices of each of the new devices.
Leaked images indicate that the new Pixel models will arrive with an increase in their launch prices. Google would be following the market trend of eliminating input options with less storage. The official presentation of the devices is scheduled for August 12th, during the Made By Google 2026 event.

Starting with the base model, the Pixel 11, the information shows a starting price of US$899, which represents an increase of US$100 compared to the previous year’s Pixel 10. It’s important to note that the specifications shared by Amazon may be tentative, as retailers don’t always receive all the final information in advance. However, if the data is correct, Google would be discontinuing the 128 GB version, making 256 GB the initial storage option.
In practice, the Pixel 11 with 256 GB of storage may have a similar cost to the equivalent 2025 model. However, the removal of the 128 GB variant means that consumers will need to shell out $100 more to purchase the most affordable model in the line. Either way, it’s generally recommended to opt for phones with at least 256GB of storage these days.

It’s evident that some crucial information is missing, as these specs were leaked and quickly removed from the Amazon store. For example, the product pages did not include details about the rear camera or the processor that will power the device.
For the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL models, the situation is similar. Only two color options, canyon and obsidian, were identified in the screen-captured pages. Interestingly, Google appears to be planning to launch a more basic version of the Pixel 11 Pro with just 12 GB of RAM, unlike Pro models from previous years, which came with 16 GB. The Pro variants with greater storage, however, should maintain 16 GB. This adjustment may be related to recent challenges in RAM production.

Like the Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, representing a $100 increase over last year’s Pixel 10 Pro. The Pixel 11 Pro XL will start at US$1,299.

Finally, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold was also included in the leaks and could face an even more significant price increase. Its initial cost, according to reports, would rise to $1,899, a $400 jump compared to the launch of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which cost $1,499 a year ago (the 256GB version went for $1,799 last year). The colors seen in the captured pages are obsidian and olive, and there will be at least 256GB and 512GB storage variants.

As mentioned previously, these are partial lists of specifications and may contain information that has not yet been finalized. The full picture will only be known at the Made by Google event on August 12th. The main takeaway is that it appears that each of the new phones will have a starting price increase of at least $100, which isn’t surprising, but also not particularly good news, reflecting the current technology market landscape.
