Fernando Alonso, the renowned Spanish driver, expressed on Thursday, July 16, a personal objective for the weekend. After participating in the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix, his priority is to be able to return in time to watch the expected World Cup final.

In the decisive game, the Spanish team has a scheduled clash with Argentina on Sunday, and Alonso demonstrates his desire not to miss the event, highlighting his passion for other sports even in the midst of his intense routine.

The current Formula 1 season has proven to be quite complicated for the Aston Martin team, of which the Spanish driver is a member. The team’s performance has been challenging, with great difficulties in completing the races and a total of just one point gained in nine stages.

This scenario contrasts significantly with Fernando Alonso’s track record of success and previous career achievements, which perhaps makes the desire to watch the World Cup final a welcome moment of distraction.
