A detailed leak, attributed to renowned leaker Evan Blass, revealed this Thursday, July 16, 2026, alleged promotional images of the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Samsung’s next compact foldable smartphone. The material not only confirms the already anticipated design, but also presents the main features of the device, such as camera specifications and battery capacity.
The images, which will probably be used by the South Korean company on its sales platforms, begin by validating the long-awaited name, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and highlight the Pink color as one of the main options of this new generation.
In line with previous rumors, the model’s design remains quite similar to that of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, with the main difference being the revitalized color options. Among them are Cream (cream/white), Graphite (dark gray) and an exclusive version for the brand’s portal, in the shade Mint (green).
Special attention is paid to the camera system and the battery, which follow the predictions: a 10 MP front camera is expected on the internal screen, and a dual rear configuration with a 50 MP main sensor (with 2x digital zoom) and a 12 MP ultrawide lens. The battery will have a capacity of 4,300 mAh, and charging power should remain at 25 W.
Another relevant aspect highlighted by the content is the priority in the secondary panel, displayed in different functionalities. There are signs that Samsung may finally allow full use of the smartphone through this external screen, a feature long awaited by users.
Although processing and memory details are not present in the material released by Blass, little information remains secret about the device. The phone will hit the market equipped with Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processors, varying depending on the launch region, accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage, allowing Samsung to optimize performance and cost in different markets.
To complete the set, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will come with a flexible 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as a 4.1-inch external Super AMOLED screen also with 120 Hz. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC, with IP48 certification for water and dust resistance. The operating system will be Android 17, running under the One UI 9.0 interface.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to be one of the main launches of the Galaxy Unpacked event, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra and the new Galaxy Watch 9 line of watches. The official event is scheduled for next Wednesday, July 22, 2026, starting at 10am Brasília time.
