New “Stardew Valley” trading cards are about to arrive in the “Magic: The Gathering” universe later this month through a limited Secret Lair release. A first glimpse of these items was revealed during the MagicCon: Amsterdam panel, where Wizards of the Coast confirmed three Secret Lair x Stardew Valley themed collections, integrated into the Moonlight Jellies Superdrop. These exclusive editions promise to highlight different aspects of life in the acclaimed game, from the farming routine and forming friendships to battles in the mines.

A new card specific to “Magic: The Gathering” called “Stardew Valley” is also part of this release, featuring original art created by developer ConcernedApe, the game’s creator. According to a press release, the card was inspired by the “daily rituals of food, favors, and the search for the perfect gift at the right time” found in the game. Other editions include “Life In Pelican Town,” which celebrates the iconic locations that bring the valley to life, “Flicker In The Deep,” which explores the mysteries and treasures hidden beneath the depths, and “Welcome to Stardew Valley,” which captures the essence of starting a new life in the valley, where planting crops, building friendships, and even wizard challenges can all occur in the same day. The new “Stardew Valley” card is part of the “Welcome to Stardew Valley” set.
