Users of the Netflix streaming service faced access problems and instability on the platform on April 4, 2026, with reports of difficulties playing content and accessing the catalog of titles. Complaints emerged from different parts of the world, highlighting a failure that affected the entertainment of millions of subscribers.

In Italy, a user in Rome with a high-end Samsung television described the appearance of the GPS-LEN error. The service displayed all video previews in black, and attempted solutions, such as disconnecting the device from the power supply for fifteen seconds and reconnecting the account, did not resolve the problem permanently.

Another subscriber expressed her frustration at having her session interrupted while watching a program, resulting in the interruption of a child’s entertainment while watching “PJ Masks.”

The situation began to normalize for some users, such as an individual from the United Kingdom who confirmed the restoration of service in his region.

Another subscriber also questioned whether the platform was working again for others, indicating a gradual improvement in the situation.

However, a user reported an error message indicating difficulties in accessing specific titles, displaying the code “MAP” and requesting that the attempt be made again later.

A viewer who was watching “The Flash” reported that the screen suddenly went black, which caused irritation, especially as it was near the end of the series’ season.

One solution found by a user was to unplug the television from the socket and plug it back in. After this action, the service started working again, although she faced the same GPS-LEN error.

Another similar report came from a subscriber who was marathoning “Greys Anatomy” and had access interrupted precisely in the last episode of the season.

The sudden interruption led to frustrated reactions among viewers, who found themselves unable to continue their programming.

The variety of problems included several random errors, but the GPS-LEN code was the most frequently mentioned in user complaints.

Among speculation about the cause, a Brazilian user stated that the interruption of the Netflix service was caused by a “general blackout” that affected several cities in the United States.

Another user, however, questioned the veracity of this information, asking for evidence about the blackout claim in the United States.

The widespread doubt about the service’s downfall was evident in several questions from subscribers, seeking to confirm the instability of the platform.
