Details of Inter Miami’s Leagues Cup victory

At the beginning of the confrontation, Inter Miami was surprised by the opposing team. Just four minutes into the game, David Rodriguez opened the scoring for San Luis, after receiving a pass from Roman Torres Acosta.

However, San Luis’ leadership did not last long. In the 11th minute, Lionel Messi equalized the score with a precise finish, taking advantage of Allen’s cross in the area.

The Inter Miami team kept the pace and had a goal disallowed before managing to turn things around in the 25th minute. Micael, the defender who previously played for Palmeiras, made a beautiful pass to Allen, who dribbled past the goalkeeper and served Telasco Segovia to finish into the empty net.

Before the first half break, Inter Miami extended the lead to a rout. In the 44th minute, Messi scored again after receiving a new pass from Allen, dominating and shooting with power. In stoppage time, the Argentine number 10 took a corner kick which resulted in the fourth goal, scored with a header by Micael.

At the beginning of the second half, San Luis managed to reduce the difference on the scoreboard with a goal from Rafa Llorente. Shortly afterwards, at 13 minutes, the match was temporarily suspended due to adverse weather conditions.

The game resumed after a stoppage of almost 20 minutes. With the result practically defined, Inter Miami adopted a more rhythmic rhythm, controlling possession of the ball until the end.
