The Vibrant Visuals feature is the main differentiator of this edition, becoming the default graphical experience on Nintendo Switch 2. It integrates more sophisticated lighting, new shadow effects and a series of visual optimizations, enriching the beauty of the Minecraft universe. All compatible content available on the Minecraft Marketplace will also benefit from these improvements.
Additionally, the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack, exclusive to Nintendo platforms for Minecraft, will undergo an update to explore the renewed graphics. This pack offers a themed universe inspired by Mario, a unique soundtrack and several skins for characters from the franchise. Fans will be able to revisit legendary settings such as Peach Castle and Praça Delfino, now presented with a completely revitalized look.
