ChatGPT tests feature to create and export WhatsApp stickers
ChatGPT is developing a new tool that will allow users to create personalized stickers and transfer them directly to WhatsApp. The discovery comes from an in-depth analysis of the internal code of the OpenAI application, carried out by a specialized portal. The resource, however, is not yet accessible to the public and remains in the testing phase.
Internally known as “ChatGPT Stickers”, this functionality aims to optimize the process of transforming images generated by artificial intelligence into stickers. Currently, the task requires the user to create the image, download it, edit it in a separate application and, only then, import it into the messenger, a flow that would be simplified.
Although the source code indicates compatibility with several “chat applications”, the signs point to an initial integration with WhatsApp. Terms such as “ChatGPT Stickers” and “Add to WhatsApp” were located, in addition to specific error messages, such as “Unable to add stickers to WhatsApp” and “Download stickers”, reinforcing the focus on the Meta application.

To export a sticker pack, it is mandatory to create at least three items. This technical requirement follows the standards of the Meta messenger, which accepts packages containing three to thirty stickers.

Release forecast: when will the stickers feature be available on ChatGPT?
There is no set date for the launch of the functionality. The information emerged through an “APK teardown”, a methodology that explores the internal code of applications to identify features under development that have not yet been made available to users.

The presence of these elements within the application signals that OpenAI is investing in the new feature. However, the existence of such codes does not guarantee the resource’s arrival in the final version, since features under development may undergo changes, delays or even be discarded before public launch.
Therefore, it will be necessary to wait for an official announcement from OpenAI or the eventual release of the function in future test versions of ChatGPT to confirm its implementation.
