The group Backstreet Boys has a confirmed presence again at the Las Vegas Sphere for New Year’s Eve celebrations, with a series of three performances between December 31, 2026 and January 2, 2027. The news was released on August 11, 2026.
This is not the first time that the boy band has spent New Year’s Eve at the venue, having already performed at Sphere the previous New Year. With the inclusion of these new events, the Backstreet Boys will reach the milestone of 60 performances at the arena, placing them just 12 shows behind the Eagles, the group with the most shows at the complex. Their “Into The Millennium” tour was pioneering, being the first pop show to headline Sphere’s schedule, debuting in July 2025 and solidifying the band as one of the main names to perform at the innovative space.
How to buy tickets and packages for the end of year shows at Sphere
General ticket sales for the special holiday performances will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. PT on August 21st. Before that, there will be an exclusive pre-sale for fan club members starting August 18th, followed by a pre-sale for artists on August 19th. You can sign up to participate in pre-sales until August 17th.

The company Vibee, responsible for travel packages that combine hotel stays and tickets to shows, is offering offers that include guaranteed seats at the Sphere and accommodation at The Venetian hotel. The sale of these packages began at 10 am (Pacific Time) on August 12th.
In addition to the New Year’s Eve dates, the Backstreet Boys also have a performance scheduled for November, during the Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Other artists confirm performances in the second semester
Singer Richard Marx will headline the Pearl at the Palms on October 30th. Marx is the only male artist to have his first seven singles reach the Billboard Top 5, and one of only two musicians, along with Michael Jackson, to write number 1 hits in four different decades. Tickets start at $49, with general sales beginning at 10 a.m. PT on August 14 on ticketing platforms.
Country artist Koe Wetzel will perform at PH Live at Planet Hollywood on December 11, expanding the entertainment options during the National Finals Rodeo. This performance is part of his “Night Champion” world tour. The Texas-born musician recently performed in front of more than 50,000 fans at the Houston Rodeo. General admission tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. PT on August 14th on ticketing platforms.
New Gibson store could include space for Las Vegas shows
A new Gibson Garage guitar store is scheduled to open in 2027, located in the Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood. Gibson said the property would occupy 9,000 square feet, but the company’s building permit application was approved for a 22,000-square-foot area.
Although there is no official confirmation from the company, the difference in square footage suggests the possible construction of a performance space of approximately 13,000 square feet. If realized, this venue could host intimate shows by touring guitarists, especially those who have sponsorship deals with Gibson.
