Dentist Giulia Falcão Kos revealed that she was the victim of aggression by her husband, businessman Ivo Kos, 48 years old. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of August 15, 2026, in São Paulo, led to the man’s arrest for bodily harm, threats and domestic violence.
According to the woman’s testimony, the attacks began inside the couple’s vehicle, while they were returning to the residence.
“He slapped and punched me, and I tried to defend myself with kicks. He had a taser in his hand, with the stun machine, but he was holding on, but he didn’t touch me,” Giulia said of the violence she suffered.
Security camera records from the street where the residence is located captured part of the scene. The images show the car arriving and Giulia getting out. Shortly afterwards, Ivo appears, advancing towards the woman and throwing a punch that knocks her down.
Giulia also claimed to have been attacked with a baseball bat, managing to protect herself using one of her hands. When giving a statement at the police station, the businessman denied all the accusations made against him.
The victim also said that, after the attack, she was prevented from accessing the house where she lived with her husband. She was unable to remove her clothes, personal belongings and even her car, as the property’s locks had been changed. Currently, the dentist is recovering at her parents’ home.
“I think this time, he tried to kill me”, declared the dentist, highlighting the fear and perceived gravity of the situation.

He is a founding partner of Virgo, a securitization company that operates in the credit segment. Ivo Kos’ defense issued a statement stating that he would not speak at that time, citing respect for the families involved. This is common practice in cases involving high-profile people.
However, the police report contains the businessman’s version, who claimed that Giulia got out of the car, sat on the sidewalk and started shouting and attacking him. He admitted to having reacted and punched his wife in the face, but vehemently denied having made death threats.
