Digital influencer Marta Oliveira passed away on August 18, 2026, aged 33. The announcement of the loss was made by her husband, Marcus Vinicius, also an influencer, with whom she had three children. In an emotional post on social media, where the couple shared their routine with almost a million followers, he revealed that Marta was hospitalized after undergoing cosmetic surgery, and the exact cause of death has not yet been identified.
Marcus began the report by saying: “Yeah, guys… WE LOST THE BATTLE. It’s still very difficult to write these words. I don’t think any sentence would be able to explain the amount of pain I’m feeling right now.” The message was accompanied by a photograph of the couple taken during a trip to Chile.
He described Marta as “the love of my life. My best friend, my companion, the best wife I could have had and an extraordinary mother to our children.” Marcus stated that she “fought until the last moment” and demonstrated all her “strength”. He added that “anyone who knew Marta knows exactly who she was: a person with a pure heart, shy, simple, with her own way of loving and caring for those around her.”
As a wife, Marta was “my partner in absolutely everything,” Marcus said. In motherhood, she represented “love, care, protection and dedication” to her children Théo, Ravi and Filippo. The influencer mentioned that from now on begins “the most difficult mission of my life: moving forward and raising our three boys the way she would like.” He promised: “I will do everything so that they grow up knowing exactly who their mother was, how much she loved them and how much she will be present in every part of their story.”
The influencer’s husband expressed uncertainty about what life will be like without her. “It was 15 years lived intensely. A whole life built together. We had good times, bad times, difficulties, achievements, dreams, children, plans… we had a real story,” he wrote. He concluded this part by stating: “Marta was, is and always will be my only great love. I still don’t know what it’s going to be like to wake up and realize that you’re not here. I don’t know what it’s going to be like to look at our children and not have you by my side. I don’t know how I’m going to learn to live with this longing.”
Marcus reinforced his commitment to honor his wife’s memory. “I just know that I will honor you every day of my life. I will take care of our boys. I will talk about you. I will tell our stories. I will show our photos. I will make sure they never forget the amount of love you felt for them. And I will try to continue for us. I will love you forever, Martinha. Until the day we meet again”, he said.
He concluded his request by crying out: “I only ask that I not lose faith in love… May our sun of peace come and that, even when the pain seems greater than anything, the faith that one day we will meet again remains in me. Until then, rest, my love. I take care of our boys for both of us.”

He highlighted the difficulty to Théo, who now understands the situation better, and asked: “At this moment, I just ask that you continue to involve us in affection, respect and prayer. I need to be strong for them, even though I am completely destroyed inside.”
