New information about the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro has emerged, revealing important details of the tablet that is expected to be launched soon. The well-known informant Digital Chat Station announced on its Chinese social networks that the device will have an impressive 11,000 mAh battery, promising long autonomy for users, and support for 67 W fast charging, features that had already been mentioned for the Pro Max version.
Furthermore, Xiaomi’s new tablet is expected to feature a 12.5-inch LCD screen. This display promises high-quality images with its 3.2K resolution and offers extremely fluid navigation, thanks to the 144 Hz refresh rate, ideal for games and media consumption. Processing will be carried out by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a three-nanometer chip introduced on the market in November last year, known for its high-power architecture with two 3.8 GHz main cores and six 3.32 GHz performance cores.
The 67 W charging capacity for the Pad 9 Pro had already been indicated in an official certification from a Chinese body. However, other important aspects of the device, such as its final design and camera specifications, remain unconfirmed and are still a mystery to the public.
This model of the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro is positioned as a slightly less robust alternative compared to the Pro Max variant, which is scheduled to launch in September. The most powerful edition of the tablet, the Pro Max, is expected to feature Xiaomi’s proprietary XRING 03 chip, which was officially presented on July 24.
So far, the manufacturer has not released official details about its future tablets. All available information is based on rumors and market leaks. The expectation is that more data about the devices will be revealed in the coming days, culminating in an official announcement next month.
