Apple has made the eighth beta versions of its main operating systems available to developers. This step in the updates includes iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27, marking a significant step forward in the development cycle ahead of final releases.

Details of new builds for testers

Developers now have access to the eighth beta builds, allowing for in-depth testing of the systems. The released versions are:

  • iOS 27:build 24A5430a
  • iPadOS 27:build 24A5430a
  • macOS Golden Gate 27:build 26A5425a
  • watchOS 27:build 24R5360a
  • tvOS 27:build 24J5360a
  • visionOS 27:build 24M5361a

Along with these updates, the company also released the third Release Candidates (RCs) for macOS Tahoe 26.7 (build 25G227) and macOS Sequoia 15.8 (build 24H22). RCs are usually the last versions before the official release, indicating that stability is near.

Key features expected with the new systems

The various beta versions have brought a series of innovations and improvements that should reach users soon. Among the highlights, Siri AI promises to improve interaction, with waiting list suggestions and the ability to personalize your voice. A new assistant writing feature has also been added to facilitate communication.

Other important new features include adjustments to the iOS 27 interface, with the introduction of new icons for applications and changes to the sensitive content alert system. macOS 27 also received visual updates, such as a redesigned “traffic light”, which offers a new aesthetic for the system.

Specific news for Apple apps and ecosystem

The Apple ecosystem will see several integrations and expanded functionalities. The Home app, for example, will have artificial intelligence features that, in some cases, will require a 2TB iCloud+ plan. It will also be possible to update Apple TV directly through the Home app, simplifying device management.

Shared Albums will now consume iCloud storage in iOS 27, a change that affects space management. In the Carteira app, there will be the addition of digital passes and a functionality for dividing accounts, aiming for greater practicality in transactions and payments.

Innovations for Messaging, FaceTime and CarPlay

The Messages app will receive new features based on artificial intelligence, promising more intuitive conversations. FaceTime will also be improved with Dual Capture, a long-awaited feature, especially for users of the upcoming iPhone 17.

For CarPlay, the expectation is the integration of Siri AI, which will bring a more connected and safe driving experience. Native video applications will also be compatible with the platform, enriching the entertainment and usefulness of the system in vehicles.

Access to beta versions for the public

Beta versions are available free of charge to developers. This means that general users can install new systems without necessarily opting for public betas, simply by being registered as a developer with a free account. Monitoring for new features and adjustments will continue with these versions.
