A significant update to Roku’s television line has just been presented: the first OLED models of the Pro series. These launches are among the most affordable OLED TVs on the market, with prices starting at US$999, promising to bring cutting-edge technology to a wider audience.

New Roku Pro OLED TVs promise superior quality and affordability

The Roku Pro OLED and Roku Pro LX series televisions arrive to replace the previous Pro TV model and will be available for purchase exclusively through Amazon. Unlike the previous version, which used an LCD panel, the new TVs with OLED technology offer superior image quality, characterized by infinite contrast and better visual performance even at side angles, representing a notable advance in the user experience.

The standard version of the Roku Pro Series 4K TV features a panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, support for Dolby Vision and the Roku Smart Picture Max system. This model also includes an Auto Game Mode, compatible with FreeSync Premium and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) technologies, ideal for gamers.

Advanced Features in the Roku Pro OLED LX Line

The innovations present in the Roku Pro Series LX TV include a brighter image, an expanded color palette, a variable refresh rate of 144Hz and an anti-glare filter. These improvements aim to offer an even more immersive and comfortable visual experience.

Both TV models were designed with an ultra-thin metal frame, a feature that had one consequence: the removal of the Soundstage audio port, present in the previous Pro line and praised for its quality. Chris Larson, from Roku, reported in an interview that the inclusion of this feature would make the devices too thick, a disadvantage for users who prioritize integrated high-fidelity sound.

When it comes to usability, Roku TVs maintain well-known practical features, such as an adjustable stand that does not require tools for installation and Velcro straps to organize cables. The televisions come with a remote control with voice command function and illuminated buttons, as well as the ability to pair Bluetooth headphones directly to the device.

The Roku Pro (2025) was considered the company’s best television until then, but the incorporation of OLED technology should raise the level of the new models. The launch price is extremely competitive, and these TVs have the potential to become market references at the end of 2026, combining cost and image performance. The LX version’s improvements, such as the brighter panel and anti-reflective coating, suggest that it may be the more advantageous option between the two.

The Roku Pro OLED series models are now available in 55- and 65-inch sizes, with prices starting at US$999. The Roku Pro Series LX OLED TV will hit the market in October 2026, starting at US$1,299.
