Apple has made the eighth beta version of its operating systems available to developers. The update covers several platforms such as iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27 and visionOS 27.
Each of these platforms received different builds. iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 share the code 24A5430a, while macOS Golden Gate 27 has the code 26A5425a. watchOS 27 users will have the 24R5360a package, and tvOS 27 for televisions arrives with the code 24J5360a, with visionOS 27 showing the version 24M5361a.
In addition to the most recent releases, the company also released third Release Candidates (RC) versions for older computer operating systems. macOS Tahoe 26.7 was updated with build 25G227, and macOS Sequoia 15.8 received the 24H22 ID.
Access to these beta versions for developers is offered at no cost, eliminating the need to sign up for public beta programs to install the new systems. It is enough to have an active and free developer registration to carry out advance downloads, however, it is important to consider that these firmwares may present greater instability and bugs.
The interface innovations and functionalities implemented in these versions remain in the evaluation phase and will be incorporated into the next update reports. The stable version of iOS 27 is expected to be available for all compatible Apple devices around mid-September.
The official announcement of these systems and the presentation of the new line of iPhones are scheduled for next week. There is still no confirmation whether a possible model of the company’s foldable smartphone will be revealed during the event.
