Sony Interactive Entertainment has scheduled a double round of State of Play broadcasts for September 3, an event dedicated to presenting the next news for the PlayStation universe. Viewers will be able to follow, in sequence, two screenings full of updates from our own studios and global partners, including an in-depth look at the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Revelation. This special edition promises to reveal significant details about future releases on the platform, generating great anticipation among fans.

What to expect from upcoming State of Play broadcasts

The first event, which is the standard State of Play, will bring information and announcements from several PlayStation studios, as well as content from third-party developers. The main attraction will be an extended analysis of the Final Fantasy VII Revelation universe, developed by Square Enix, which should detail important aspects of the game and generate great buzz among the gaming community.

Details about the global State of Play and the Japanese edition

Shortly after the main broadcast, a new edition of State of Play Japan will be shown, hosted again by Yuki Kaji. This segment will focus on games from studios in Japan and Asia, promising new gameplay sequences, exclusive announcements and more surprises. The proposal is to offer an in-depth view of regional launches that also arouse global interest for their innovations and creative proposals.

How to follow live events on September 3rd

Both broadcasts will be live on September 3rd, scheduled to begin at 6am PT, 9am ET, 3pm Central European Time, and 10pm Japan Time. Fans will be able to watch via the official PlayStation YouTube and Twitch channels. The main State of Play will be narrated in English with Japanese subtitles, while the Japanese version will be presented in Japanese with English subtitles.
