Benchmark records uploaded to Geekbench indicate clear hardware gains over the prior generation. The display upgrades focus on outdoor visibility and smoother animations.
Internal components rely on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset matched with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM, storage expansion up to 1 TB via MicroSD, a 5.12-millimeter profile, an 11,600 mAh battery supporting 45 W charging, and standard IP68 water resistance.
The rear camera module pairs a 13 MP primary sensor with an 8 MP ultrawide lens. Front optics use 12 MP.
Samsung also readies the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus featuring a 12.4-inch OLED screen with QHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh, Dimensity 9500 silicon, 12 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage. This intermediate build includes a 10,600 mAh cell alongside a quad-speaker system enhanced by Dolby Atmos. Both tablets offer optional 5G.
