NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman will present space exploration programs at the Baltimore Ravens game against the New Orleans Saints in Baltimore on Sept. 20. Wiseman serves as the commander of the Artemis II lunar mission.
Public activities outside the stadium
Agency personnel will operate an interactive Experience Zone outside the stadium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. before kickoff.
Visitors can inspect exhibits regarding lunar missions under the Artemis program. Fans can also take pictures with a giant inflatable NASA insignia and access a photo booth. Wiseman is a Baltimore native.
Career milestones in naval aviation and spaceflight
On April 1, Wiseman launched from NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida aboard a Space Launch System rocket as commander of the Artemis II mission, leading the four-person crew on a lunar flyby that brought humans to the Moon for the first time in over 50 years.
He logged 175 days in space across two spaceflight assignments. Wiseman also served 27 years as an active Navy veteran.
