Stark Future unveiled the VARG SM Sköll electric motorcycle priced at £12,990 in October 2026 delivery schedules for global markets. The manufacturer capped worldwide availability at 500 numbered units, representing a £1000 increase over the base machine.
Taking inspiration from the Norse mythical wolf that pursues the sun across the heavens, the design team applied an extensive component-level blackout finish across the chassis.
Engineers utilized a blend of powder-coating, anodising, and deep-black chemical treatments across mechanical structures rather than a simple cosmetic respray. The treatment encompasses the swingarm, steering stem, retaining nut, yokes, motor housing, and external side covers. Technicians also treated the inverter enclosure, docking station, handlebar map switch, and charging port cap.

Individual limited-edition identification numbers are engraved directly onto the black-anodised triple clamps. The gold-finished ultra-wide-ring drive chain turning against a 7075 T6 alloy rear sprocket remains the sole exterior element left without dark pigmentation.
The motorcycle includes the proprietary ALPHA specification package as standard equipment. This configuration unlocks 79bhp peak power alongside customizable Dynamic Traction Control. Hardware modifications are not required.
Tipping the scales at a verified 123.4kg, the model cuts 1.1kg from the 124.5kg standard version through 3D-printed titanium footpegs saving 140g and a comprehensive titanium bolt kit that strips an additional 900g from the overall assembly.
Stark Future concentrated the weight reduction strictly on controls and fasteners rather than rotating or unsprung components to preserve wheel control and damping reaction times. The reduced gross mass sharpens directional transitions while assisting front-wheel lift during aggressive throttle inputs.
Brembo braking hardware features a 320mm front disc paired with a four-piston caliper alongside a 220mm rear disc gripped by a single-piston unit. Buyers can select an optional handlebar-mounted rear brake lever setup. Contact with the tarmac comes courtesy of Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres measuring 120/70-17 forward and 140/70-17 behind.
The 79bhp electric motor generates a claimed 674lb.ft of torque at the rear wheel through a direct single-speed transmission without a clutch or gearbox. Energy comes from a 7.2kWh, 420V battery pack delivering 183km of city range, 118km in suburban routes, and 81km under official WMTC laboratory test parameters. Recharging via the supplied 3.3kW portable unit requires two hours when connected to a 240V socket. A standard 120V outlet replenishes the cells in three and a half hours.
The integrated Arkenstone onboard display delivers turn-by-turn navigation for street and off-road riding, offline topographic maps, GPX tracking, lap timers, and over-the-air firmware updates.
Continuous power output ratings ensure the road-legal machine satisfies UK A1 licence thresholds. Production remains strictly limited to 500 units globally, with the manufacturer ruling out any secondary manufacturing run.
