Manchester City forward Allan scored one goal and delivered an assist during a 5-0 victory over Norwich on September 18, 2026, at Etihad Stadium in the third round of the English League Cup to mark his debut. The 22-year-old attacker expressed satisfaction with his immediate contribution for the English side after the match.
“I am very happy, I felt quite anxious about this debut and not even in my best dreams did I imagine a start like this,” Allan stated. The Brazilian player emphasized his dedication to continuous improvement to help the squad during the ongoing season competitions. “So I must keep working to develop and be able to help even more,” he added.
The forward initiated the opening goal at 28 minutes when Daniel Grimshaw lost possession and Samba scored from the resulting pass at Etihad Stadium. His first official goal arrived three minutes into the second half after he dribbled on the left wing and finished the play.
Contract terms include performance bonuses for Allan at Manchester City
Manchester City agreed to a deal completed in August worth 40 million euros, which corresponds to approximately 240 million reais. The arrangement establishes a fixed fee of 37.5 million euros alongside 2.5 million euros tied to athletic milestones. The forward signed a five-season contract with the English club.
Only two sales generated more. The departure of Allan ranks as the third-largest transfer in Palmeiras history, trailing only the agreements that sent Estêvão to Chelsea and Endrick to Real Madrid.
