The Roscosmos Progress 93 resupply vehicle transported approximately three tons of food, fuel, and critical operational supplies to the Expedition 73 crew before securing itself to the rear port of the Zvezda service module for a planned six-month stay. Cameras captured the cargo craft conducting its automated approach toward the International Space Station before final linkup.
Roscosmos recorded the automated approach of the Progress 93 vessel toward the International Space Station on Sept. 13, 2025, without incident.
NASA coordinates live broadcast coverage of the inbound Roscosmos Progress 96 spacecraft as it approaches the orbital laboratory. The broadcast covers the rendezvous. The robotic vessel delivers essential logistics to the Expedition 73 personnel living in orbit.
The unpiloted spacecraft targets an autonomous docking to the space-facing port of the Poisk module at 9:46 a.m. EDT. A Soyuz rocket lifted the vessel from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 9:33 a.m., or 6:33 p.m. Baikonur time, on Sept. 16.
