Judicial authorities in Sao Paulo ordered the freezing of R$ 367,700 from the bank accounts of digital influencer Adriana Sant’Anna. The financial hold stems from an ongoing provisional enforcement proceeding seeking more than R$ 1.4 million from her and her husband, Rodrigo Gomes Simoni, an influencer and former singer known as Rodrigão.
The electronic seizure was carried out on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, through SISBAJUD, the asset-tracing platform operated by the Brazilian judicial system. Automated inquiries located financial assets solely in accounts held under Adriana Sant’Anna’s name, while asset searches conducted in the banking system returned zero balances across accounts registered to Rodrigão.
Departure from Os Marvados sparked contract lawsuit
The legal dispute traces back to 2017, when Rodrigão announced his immediate exit from the country music trio Os Marvados, where he performed alongside singers Marlon and Bruno Araújo. The musical enterprise was financed and managed by WFA Marketing e Eventos, a production agency owned by entertainment executive Fábio Ponte, who previously managed the pagode ensemble Jeito Moleque. Rodrigão formally communicated his withdrawal on January 1, 2017, and published the announcement across his digital platforms, prompting the production company to file a commercial damages claim.
WFA argued before the judiciary that the sudden departure violated a formal agreement established for a mandatory three-year duration, which included strict penalty clauses for unilateral termination lacking justifiable grounds. On March 1, 2022, Judge Marian Najjar Abdo, presiding over the 42nd Civil Court of the Central Civil Forum of Sao Paulo, ruled the lawsuit partially valid. The ruling imposed a contractual fine of R$ 400,000 against Rodrigão and awarded compensation for moral damages against both him and Adriana Sant’Anna.
At the time the contractual break occurred, Fábio Ponte described the operational setbacks suffered by the firm. The executive stated that when family matters involving Rodrigo interrupted the project and damaged the professional partnership, the agency suffered tangible monetary damages. He also stressed that the firm lost the opportunity to continue an artistic enterprise that had demonstrated notable commercial traction in several regions.
Court splits liability across individual and joint obligations
The trial verdict was subsequently upheld on appeal by the Sao Paulo Court of Justice. Because the defense filed an appeal to transfer the dispute to the Superior Court of Justice, the entertainment firm petitioned for the provisional enforcement of the award, creating an updated debt total that incorporates statutory interest, inflation adjustments, court fees, and legal costs.
The overall claim exceeding R$ 1.4 million was structured by the court according to the distinct liabilities established throughout the court records. A segment of approximately R$ 1.21 million is demanded individually from Rodrigão, whereas roughly R$ 218,000 is claimed under joint liability between both spouses, meaning each remains accountable for the entire shared sum. Given the absence of voluntary settlement or designated physical properties to secure the balance, the magistrate approved electronic banking seizures directly targeting Adriana Sant’Anna.
Financial records required before release of frozen capital
- Presiding judicial body: 42nd Civil Court of the Central Civil Forum of the District of Sao Paulo
- Aggregate debt demanded in provisional execution: R$ 1.4 million
- Capital seized through SISBAJUD: R$ 367,700 across accounts belonging to Adriana Sant’Anna
- Individual liability attributed solely to Rodrigão: R$ 1.21 million
- Joint liability obligation assessed across both spouses: R$ 218,000
- Documentation needed for unlock evaluation: consecutive presentation of 60 days of prior bank records
Because the judicial measure functions as provisional debt enforcement, the seized capital of R$ 367,700 stays deposited inside a court-controlled escrow account rather than transferring immediately to WFA Marketing e Eventos. Should the legal counsel representing Adriana Sant’Anna petition to release the funds, court instructions require the submission of bank account statements covering the 60 consecutive days prior to the electronic seizure. Addressing the current status of the proceeding, Fábio Ponte reiterated that he remains willing to achieve a balanced consensual agreement that respects the legal interests of everyone involved and permanently closes the litigation. Legal representatives for Adriana Sant’Anna and Rodrigão have not released public statements regarding the judicial order.
