Prime Video announces The Boys season 5 and Cangaço Novo 2 in April 2026
Amazon Prime Video released the list of premieres for the month of April 2026. The platform is preparing the arrival of original productions and films that expand the entertainment options for subscribers. Entre the highlights are the fifth and final season of The Boys, which arrives on April 8th, and the second season of Cangaço Novo, scheduled for April 24th.
The releases also include other series and feature films that arrive in the catalog throughout the month. The programming mixes action, drama and national and international productions. Subscribers can access content directly through the streaming service.
Highlights of the series on Prime Video
The fifth season of The Boys marks the end of the satirical superhero series. The initial episodes premiere on April 8, with two chapters available at once. The following weeks bring one new episode per week until the end of the season.
The production continues to explore the confrontation between the group known as The Boys and the supes led by Homelander. The plot advances with themes of power and resistance against a backdrop of increasing tension.
Cangaço Novo returns with its second full season on April 24th. Todos The seven episodes are available simultaneously for marathon. The plot follows the Vaqueiro brothers in new alliances and confrontations in the backlands.
The Brazilian series gains reinforcements in the cast, including singer Xamã. The narrative intensifies the power struggle and the consequences of the actions of the first season.

The month begins with Caminhos of Crime on April 1st. Next, GOAT arrives on April 2nd and Entre Nós – Uma Dose Extra from Amor on April 3rd. A Casa Mágica from Gabby: A Filme and A Menina from Crime0 debut on April 9.
Camping with Amigas and Tesouro of Sarah are scheduled for April 15th. Telefone Preto 2 arrives on the 16th, followed by Venganza and Venom: Última Rodada on April 17th. Marty Supreme and A Vida of Chuck enter on April 22 and 23, respectively.
Sleep: Mal Nunca Dorme and Monster Summer close film releases on April 23 and 30. Esses Titles cover genres ranging from action to horror and comedy.
