Game Freak announced Mega Zeraora this Wednesday, November 19, 2025, through the official trailer for the Mega Dimension DLC of Pokémon Legends Z-A. The new form of the electric Pokémon Mítico is part of the paid expansion, scheduled for release on December 10, 2025, on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The video shows the model in combat inside the Hyperspace Lumiose, a distorted version of the Lumiose City.
The reveal comes weeks after the launch of the base game and confirms elements of datamined leaks in 2024. Jogadores will need to advance through the DLC story to obtain it, without distribution via Presente Misterioso.
Design and Pokédex of Mega Zeraora
Mega Zeraora stores electrical energy equivalent to ten lightning bolts in its body. Protuberâncias on the forehead, chest, back and back of the hands concentrate this force and emit constant pale blue light.
The shape measures 1.5 meters tall and weighs 44.5 kg. Categoria Pokémon Trovoada, pure Elétrico type. The trailer shows attacks that knock down multiple nearby opponents after accumulating energy.
How to get the new Mega Evolução
Acquiring Mega Zeraora requires purchasing the Mega Dimension DLC, for around R$150 in Brasil.
The expansion focuses on roguelike exploration in Hyperspace Lumiose, with Pokémon above level 100 and power-ups to overcome limits.
