The writing team, with Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron, finalized the script after adjustments in July 2024.

The film is part of the MCU’s Fase Seis and paves the way for Vingadores: Guerras Secretas, scheduled for May 2027. Marvel adjusted release dates due to previous strikes, prioritizing quality in post-production.

Central villain and main antagonist

Robert Downey Jr. returns to the MCU as Doutor Destino, the main antagonist of the narrative. The choice surprised the public, after his farewell as Homem from Ferro in Vingadores: Ultimato.

The character, Victor von Doom, emerges as a cosmic threat uniting heroes from different aspects of the Marvel universe.

The Russo directors emphasize the epic scale, with Doom manipulating realities in direct confrontation with the Vingadores.

Return of mutants and classic X-Men

The inclusion of these actors from old Fox productions reinforces the narrative continuity, with more than 20 names from previous casts.

Merchandising strategy at the Japanese event

Tokyo Comic Con, held annually since 2016, attracted 74,000 visitors in 2024 and serves as a platform for exclusive releases.

The jacket, with no details revealed on the back yet, follows the classic Vingadores design to attract collectors.

Marvel adopts this tactic to test global reception before its debut, with limited items selling out quickly in past editions.

Additional products, such as figures and accessories, are planned for the coming months in line with the promotional campaign.

The focus on events like this accelerates the engagement of Asian fans, a key market for the MCU.

Additional participation confirmed

Letitia Wright returns as Shuri, Paul Rudd as Homem-Formiga and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes. Wyatt Russell plays the U.S. Agent, and Tenoch Huerta plays Namor.

Simu Liu appears as Shang-Chi, while Hannah John-Kamen is Espectro. Tom Hiddleston reprises Loki in a recurring role.

Winston Duke and Danny Ramirez complete the group with Jabari and Joaquin Torres. Lewis Pullman integrates the Thunderbolts as Bob.

Product details and availability

The green jacket measures standard details for collectors, with resistant fabric and high-quality print.

Sale limited to four days at the Marvel stand, with controlled stock to avoid immediate depletion.

Fans should purchase tickets in advance, as the event fills up annually with panels and screenings.

The piece begins a line that should include t-shirts and caps by the end of 2026.
