The national two-wheel market has just received the update of one of the most popular medium-displacement models in the classic segment. The Indian-origin automaker officially announced the arrival of the new line of its most iconic motorcycle at Brazilian dealerships, bringing specific modernizations that aim to align the retro style with the contemporary functionality demanded by urban motorcyclists. The changes focus mainly on visibility and comfort, maintaining the mechanics that consolidated the model in the country.

The main aesthetic and functional novelty lies in the optical assembly, which abandons conventional halogen lamps. The front headlight now features LED technology as standard, offering greater brightness and safety for night driving, in addition to integrating position lights and directional arrows also in LED. Essa change modernizes the motorcycle’s visual signature without distorting its design inspired by post-war models.

Another relevant technical implementation for the updated line is the inclusion of a gear indicator on the instrument panel, a long-standing demand from owners that facilitates driving in urban traffic. The model also received adjustable brake and clutch levers, allowing drivers of different heights to adapt the ergonomics of their hands for more precise and comfortable operation of the controls.

To complete the technological convenience package, the motorcycle now leaves the factory equipped with a USB-C port installed next to the handlebars. The feature allows for fast charging of smartphones and navigation devices while traveling, eliminating the need for third-party electrical adaptations that could compromise the vehicle’s warranty.

Prices and new finishing options

The brand’s commercial strategy positions the model with a suggested starting price of R$23,490, a value that does not include shipping costs. Brazilian consumers will have new color options available that define the motorcycle’s personality, ranging from the classic chrome look to the more aggressive “dark” style. The new variants include tones like Medallion Bronze, Commando Sand and Stealth Black.

The Stealth Black version stands out for featuring darkened finishes on the entire mechanical set, including engine and exhaust, as well as light alloy wheels that allow the use of tubeless tires. Já versions such as the Medallion Bronze focus on traditionalism, maintaining the excess chrome and spoked wheels that directly refer to British motorcycles from the 1950s.

Motorization and urban performance

At the heart of the chassis, the automaker maintained the reliable J platform engine, a 349 cm³ single-cylinder with mixed air and oil cooling. The engine is calibrated to deliver torque at low speeds, generating 20.5 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and a maximum torque of 2.7 kgf.m at 4,000 rpm. Essa configuration prioritizes agility at traffic lights and restarts rather than high final speed.

The mechanical assembly works coupled to a five-speed gearbox, known for its precise engagements. Performance is sufficient to maintain cruising speeds on highways, although the model’s natural habitat continues to be the urban environment and country roads, where the abundant torque facilitates driving without the need for constant gear changes.

In terms of energy efficiency, standardized tests indicate that the model is capable of achieving consumption averages close to 30 km/l. Considerando the fuel tank with a capacity of 13 liters, the theoretical autonomy can exceed 350 kilometers, guaranteeing good independence for short trips or intense daily use without frequent visits to the gas station.

Cycling and safety

The motorcycle’s structure remains based on the double cradle chassis, developed to offer rigidity and stability. The front suspension uses 41 mm telescopic forks, while the rear has double shock absorbers with preload adjustment, configured to absorb the irregularities of the Brazilian asphalt without transmitting excessive impacts to the rider.

In terms of safety, the braking system consists of discs on both wheels, assisted by dual-channel ABS. The anti-lock system acts independently at the front and rear, preventing skidding during emergency braking or on surfaces with low grip, such as rainy days or sandy roads.

The riding position remains upright and relaxed, with the seat positioned 805 mm from the ground. Essa height is considered accessible for most riders, allowing you to place both feet on the ground easily, which increases confidence during low-speed maneuvers or stops in traffic.

Market context

The renewal of the line comes at a strategic time, where the search for classic-style motorcycles has grown consistently in the Brasil. The model competes in a market segment that values aesthetics and mechanical simplicity, attracting both beginners and veteran motorcyclists looking for a second motorcycle for leisure.

Maintaining the visual identity, combined with technological updates such as full LED lighting, reinforces the brand’s commitment to evolving its products without losing the essence that attracts its fan base. The new units are now available for reservation and ready delivery at the network of authorized dealers throughout the national territory.
