Xiaomi expanded its portfolio of premium mid-range devices with the official launch of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, a device that redefines durability standards for the segment. The model hits the market with an explicit focus on users who need equipment capable of withstanding adverse conditions, without giving up advanced technical performance. The brand’s strategy involves combining a high-capacity battery with industrial resistance certifications.

Shielding and resistance for extreme scenarios

The new smartphone’s big difference lies in its reinforced construction, which has obtained multiple protection certifications, including IP66, IP68 and the strict IP69K rating. Essas specifications ensure that the device is completely sealed against the entry of dust and can resist water jets of high pressure and temperature, a feature rarely found in conventional cell phones aimed at the general public.

In addition to protection against liquids and particles, the structure was developed to operate in significant thermal ranges, maintaining functionality between -20°C and 55°C. Testes of impact carried out by the manufacturer indicates that the device can withstand falls of up to 2.5 meters in height, thanks to the implementation of reinforced glass and an internal architecture that absorbs mechanical shocks, offering extra safety for everyday and professional use.

Processing performance and energy autonomy

At the heart of the system, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is driven by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, manufactured using 4 nanometer lithography. Este chipset was chosen to balance energy efficiency with multitasking capacity, operating in conjunction with the HyperOS 2 operating system, based on Android 15, which promises fluid navigation and optimized artificial intelligence features.

Autonomy is guaranteed by a 6,500 mAh battery, one of the largest capacities available in the current category. The silicon-carbon anode technology allowed the manufacturer to increase energy density without excessively expanding the physical volume of the component, maintaining the device’s design relatively thin despite the extra load.

To complement the huge battery, the device supports 100W fast charging. Esse system allows the user to recover a full charge in a matter of minutes, minimizing time plugged in and maximizing productivity, especially in situations where access to electrical power is limited during the day.

Visual experience and photographic set

The multimedia experience is delivered through a 6.83-inch curved AMOLED display, which offers 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth transitions. The panel reaches a maximum brightness of 3,200 nits, ensuring clear visibility even in direct sunlight, in addition to advanced eye protection for long periods of use.

In the camera department, the smartphone does not disappoint and features robust specifications for capturing images and videos:

  • 200 MP Samsung main sensor with a size of 1/1.4 inch.
  • Óptica of Imagem stabilization (OIS) for steady night photos and videos.
  • Macro telephoto lens that allows detailed captures of close objects.
  • AI algorithms for automatic scene enhancement and HDR.
