Honda launched the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP 2026 on the Brazilian market. The model arrives with profound technical updates in the engine, electronics, chassis, aerodynamics and ergonomics. The super sports car maintains its focus on track performance and incorporates solutions derived from the RC213V, a reference motorcycle in MotoGP. Dealers will begin receiving units from mid-March.
The four-cylinder in-line engine preserves internal measurements inspired by the RC213V and delivers 215 hp of maximum power at 14,000 rpm, with torque of 11.4 kgf.m at 12,000 rpm. Power delivery has been revised across the rev range to improve acceleration out of corners and control under partial acceleration. The new Throttle By Wire system uses two independent actuators to manage the throttle bodies.
Engine and power delivery upgrades
The mechanical assembly received refinements that optimize behavior at high speeds. Bielas titanium and other components contribute to durability and performance. Power reaches the rear wheel in a more progressive and controllable way.
These changes aim for greater efficiency in sports use. The engine maintains liquid cooling and DOHC control with four valves per cylinder.
Third generation electronic Öhlins suspension
The Fireblade SP 2026 debuts the Öhlins Smart Electronic Control S-EC 3.0 suspension, the world’s first application on a production motorcycle. The inverted fork and rear shock allow full electronic adjustments via the dashboard. The system improves control in different track conditions.
Electronic calibration quickly adapts to variations in grip. Adjustments include compression, rebound and preload.
Optimized chassis and weight distribution
The chassis has revised rigidity for greater controlled flexibility. The wheelbase has been reduced by 5 mm, which favors agility when changing direction. The curb weight is 201 kg, with distribution of 53% at the front and 47% at the rear.
These changes improve high-speed stability and cornering precision. The fuel tank now has a capacity of 16.5 liters.
Race-inspired aerodynamics
New side fins and redesigned lower fairing generate greater downforce. Aerodynamic winglets help keep the front wheel on the ground during hard acceleration. The riding position has been adjusted for greater naturalness and comfort during prolonged use.
The design prioritizes reducing drag and increasing stability. Elementos and bidirectional quickshifter facilitate clutchless gear changes.
Electronics package and riding modes
The model offers three pre-defined riding modes, with customizable settings for power, engine braking, traction control, wheelie control and ABS. The new Race mode in ABS optimizes performance on the track. The TFT panel allows intuitive navigation through parameters.
The electronic controls integrate data from six-axis inertial sensors. The pilot selects settings according to the type of use.
Price and availability on the national market
The suggested public price is R$189,174, base São Paulo, without shipping or insurance. The factory warranty remains at three years, with no mileage limit. Available colors include the line’s signature Grand Prix Red red.
Arrival at dealerships takes place in mid-March. The model reinforces the positioning of the Honda as a reference in high-performance super sports cars.
Additional technical details
The titanium exhaust contributes to weight reduction and the characteristic sound. The Brembo brakes with monobloc calipers and 330 mm discs at the front guarantee precise braking. The six-speed transmission has track-optimized ratios.
A set of forged aluminum wheels and high-performance tires complete the package. The motorcycle meets emission standards in force at Brasil.
The Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP 2026 consolidates technological advances derived from MotoGP into a homologated street bike. The focus remains on full rider control in extreme sport riding situations.
