Samsung Galaxy A37 and A57 leak hands-on video before official launch

The unboxing and hands-on videos of the Samsung Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 were leaked on social media before the official launch of the brand’s mid-range devices. The images show the devices being removed from the original boxes, revealing the real design with straight sides, vertical rear camera module and the Key Island feature, which slightly elevates the volume and power buttons. The Galaxy A57 appears in purple and the Galaxy A37 in gray or green in different clips, confirming previous renderings released in leaks.

The devices maintain the familiar layout of the A line, with a perforated screen for the front and rear camera with three aligned lenses. The leak occurred through publications on TikTok, where a Thai user shared short videos showing smartphones turned on and in initial use. The images reinforce that there are no drastic changes in the look compared to the predecessor models, prioritizing continuity in the style of the Samsung for the intermediate segment.

Design and construction of new intermediaries

The Galaxy A37 and A57 feature glass and metal construction, with expected IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. The rear camera module follows the pill shape, with a dark finish on the A57 and grayish on the A37. Bordas of the screen are thinner on the top model, while the A37 maintains slightly thicker edges.

The Key Island continues to be present, grouping the side buttons in a raised area for easier access. The retail boxes shown in the videos are minimalist, highlighting the model name and part of the device’s image.

Expected screen and performance

The Galaxy A57 should come equipped with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Exynos 1680 processor powers the device, offering RAM options of up to 12GB and internal storage of 256GB or more on premium variants.

The Galaxy A37 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, also with Full HD+ and 120 Hz resolution. The Exynos 1480 chipset manages performance, with memory configurations including 8GB of RAM and options of 128GB or 256GB of storage. Ambos runs One UI 8.5 based on Android 16.

Additional cameras and features

The triple rear configuration is present on both devices. The Galaxy A57 features a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide sensor and a 5 MP macro sensor. The Galaxy A37 maintains the main 50 MP, but with an 8 MP ultrawide and 5 MP macro.

The 12 MP front camera appears on both models for selfies and video calls. Recursos as optical stabilization and improved night modes are expected, keeping the focus on quality intermediate photography.

The Galaxy A57 includes a larger vapor chamber for better heat dissipation during extended use, which benefits intense gaming and tasks.

Expected prices and availability

Leaks indicate starting prices on the Europa starting at around 439 euros for the Galaxy A37 (6 GB + 128 GB) and 549 euros for the Galaxy A57 (8 GB + 128 GB). In the Thai market, converted values ​​are equivalent to approximately 430 dollars for variants of the A37 and up to 554 dollars for the A57 with 12 GB of RAM.

The official launch is expected to take place in March or early April 2026, with the Galaxy A37 possibly arriving first in some markets. Samsung has not yet confirmed exact dates, but the leaks suggest the announcement is close.

Battery and autonomy

Both models have a 5,000 mAh battery, a recent standard in the mid-range line. Fast charging support reaches 45 W, allowing full recharges in less than an hour in ideal conditions.

The larger vapor chamber in the Galaxy A57 helps maintain controlled temperatures, which indirectly contributes to better energy efficiency in intense usage scenarios.
