Meta closes agreement and will require court approval for content with children on Instagram and Facebook

Meta announced an agreement with Ministério Público of Trabalho and Ministério Público of São Paulo to implement strict measures against irregular artistic child labor on the platforms Facebook, The company is committed to proactively identifying profiles that use children and teenagers as protagonists of digital content with commercial potential. The agreement defines artistic child labor as the production of content before the legal minimum age with artistic or advertising intent.
