A scientist from Nasa identified a new meteor shower by analyzing millions of records collected by camera networks. The cluster of 282 meteors points to an as-yet undetected asteroid that fragments as it approaches Sol. The discovery was detailed in a study published in Astrophysical Journal in March 2026.
