The Nissan Juke 2027 reaches its third generation with an exclusively electric engine. Nissan revealed the model during an event at Japão. The compact crossover maintains the design DNA that has divided opinions since its original launch in 2010.

The automaker confirmed that the vehicle uses the CMF-EV modular platform, renamed AmpR Medium. Essa architecture underpins other models from the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance, such as the Renault Scenic E-Tech and Nissan Ariya. Production takes place in the Sunderland factory, in the Reino Unido, in the same location as the new Leaf.

Design with sharp lines and futuristic elements

The new generation’s look features intricately shaped headlights and an enlarged, blacked-out front grille. Vincos aggressive elements run across the bodywork, which appears in a vibrant shade of green in the initial images. Caixas angular wheels get a black finish.

The rear door handles remain camouflaged in the C-pillars, a classic feature of the Juke. At the rear, LED lights display a complex design. The trunk lid has exclusive contours. The set resembles a production-ready concept car.

Angular style creates polygonal model effect. The Nissan bets on its striking personality to attract buyers looking for differentiation in the compact SUV segment.

Plataforma and battery options

The CMF-EV base allows integration of electrical components already tested in other vehicles in the alliance. The batteries follow the standard of the new Leaf, with capacities of 52 kWh and 75 kWh. Nissan has not yet released exact power, torque or autonomy figures.

The model also incorporates V2G, or vehicle-to-network, technology. Essa function allows the owner to use stored energy to power the home or return electricity to the grid at peak times. The feature expands the vehicle’s usefulness beyond transportation.

The second generation of the Juke continues to be sold with a hybrid engine. The strategy maintains options on the market while the electric version attracts customers interested in zero emissions.

Produção and release schedule

Manufacturing of the electric Juke begins soon at the UK Sunderland plant. The assembly line receives the new model along with the updated Leaf. Nissan plans deliveries on Europa starting in spring 2027, which corresponds to the first half of the year.

The Vision event, held at Japão, served to show the brand’s direction in electrification. Executivos highlighted the role of Juke in reaching new customers in the compact crossover segment. The original model helped popularize B-SUVs at Europa with its exotic styling.

What changes for the electric compact SUV segment

The electric Juke enters a market with increasingly varied options. The shared platform facilitates development and reduces production costs. Detalhes about interior, infotainment systems and assistance features have not yet been presented.

Maintaining the bold character differentiates the model from rivals with more conventional lines. Nissan refrains from revealing full specifications at this time. Informações on performance and range should emerge in the coming months before sales begin.

The compact crossover evolves without losing the essence that made it recognizable. The transition to electric reinforces the brand’s commitment to low-emission mobility in the Europa.
