Macworld published that the foldable iPhone should be named iPhone Ultra. The launch is scheduled for autumn in the northern hemisphere, which corresponds to September on Brasil.
The information comes from sources consulted by the publication. The name Ultra already exists in other Apple products, such as the Apple Watch Ultra. Jon Prosser, a known leaker, had already indicated this possibility before. The device should arrive alongside the iPhone 18 line.
Nome Ultra reinforces premium positioning
The iPhone Ultra would be the top-of-the-line model in the new category. Ele would have an internal screen of around 7.8 inches in book format. The thickness would be around 9.5 millimeters when closed and 4.5 millimeters when opened, according to renders shared by Prosser.
