Chinese manufacturer JAC Motors accelerates its entry into the German market with a strategy focused on local services and logistics. Importer RSA Deutschland plans to install 50 dealerships by 2026 and reach between 150 and 175 partners by 2028, with a target of 5,000 annual sales. Atualmente, the brand operates 15 stores in the country, with another seven contracts in the final phase.

The initial launch focuses on the JAC E30X, an urban electric vehicle with a range of up to 374 kilometers according to the WLTP standard. The range expands later this year with the JS6 plug-in hybrid, the JS8 PRO SUV with seven seats and an electric commercial vehicle. Para 2026, the T9 pickup is expected in a diesel version, followed by a fully electric variant.

Logística differentiates entry strategy

JAC did not choose the exclusively online sales model that marked other Chinese brands. The company invests in a traditional network of dealerships with robust logistical support. A distribution center in Wolfsburg, called NORA, guarantees delivery of parts within one working day throughout Germany.

Hendrik Wilms, sales and marketing manager at RSA Deutschland, points out that parts availability is crucial to gaining trust from German consumers. A brand that fails to provide quick repairs loses credibility after the first breakdown. Investment in local logistics seeks to avoid this scenario.

Partner requirements are affordable. Não demand luxury showrooms with glass facades. A well-maintained dealership, motivated staff and space for four vehicles are enough. Initial costs are around 5 thousand euros, covering visual identity, elevators and diagnostic devices.

Financiamento and inventory capacity

Revendedores has specific financial support. Creditplus manages consumer financing, with possible entry from Santander later. Interest-free Períodos for up to 180 days allows dealers to fulfill inventory orders without compromising cash flow.

The program reduces barriers for small and medium-sized resellers who might be hesitant when faced with unknown brands. With this structure, JAC offers financial security from the initial negotiation.

Experiência Scandinavian expansion guide

The RSA Deutschland is not new to European markets. Sua parent company operates in Drammen, close to Oslo, and accumulates years of experience introducing brands such as BYD, KGM, Suzuki and Isuzu into Escandinávia. Alemanha, however, represents an amplified challenge. The country has consolidated national automakers and traditionally welcomes newly arrived brands with caution.

Wilms reports encouraging interest from dealers, with frequent meetings and strong commercial engagement. Contudo assesses that it is still too early to measure final consumer demand, as marketing and consumer financing programs are just beginning their operations.

Battery Tecnologia reinforces credibility

JAC has a discreet advantage rarely mentioned in marketing. The brand collaborates with Volkswagen on battery technology. RSA doesn’t highlight this in headlines, but in conversations with dealers, the partnership clearly increases confidence in quality and engineering standards.

Essa association with a major German manufacturer offers an implicit guarantee on technical accuracy. Para resellers accustomed to European market requirements, the connection with Volkswagen serves as a certificate of reliability in design and manufacturing.

Entrada cautious focused on consolidation

The target of 5 thousand sales by 2028 does not represent an aggressive attack on the market. Trata is a strategic and cautious entry, prioritizing service over volume. JAC is committed to building a lasting reputation through a network genuinely committed to quality service.

The approach contrasts with previous Chinese strategies that pressured volume and price. RSA invests in local infrastructure, motivated teams and competitive repair times. Esse model reduces the risk of rejection in the most demanding market of Europa Ocidental.

Desde May 2023, RSA Deutschland distributes Maxus vehicles in four German states. JAC joined the portfolio in October 2025, marking a more ambitious phase of expansion. If the brand consolidates its presence in the next two years, it will gain a more solid position for future growth.
