NC America confirms global launch of AION 2 in 2026 with support for Brazil

NC America officially announced the global launch of AION 2 in 2026 for PC, with distribution via the Steam platform and regional server infrastructure that includes América and Sul. The MMORPG, which debuted on Coreia from Sul and Taiwan in November 2025, hits the international market with a completely rebuilt version for computers, abandoning the mobile focus of the original edition. The title page is now available on Steam to add to interested players’ wishlists.

Infraestrutura regional and Brazilian Portuguese support

The game’s technical rebuild for global release significantly altered its infrastructure. The servers will be hosted regionally at América of Norte, América of Sul, Europa and Japão, reducing latency for players in each geographic area. The interface and all texts will be translated into ten different languages, including Brasil Portuguese, English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian and both standards of Chinese. Expanded Mundo and aerial combat as core mechanic

The world of Atreia has been significantly expanded, reaching 36 times the size of the first AION. The design of zones and confrontations revolves around flight, which is no longer just a locomotion mechanism and starts to support exploration and aerial combat in three dimensions. Essa fundamental change redefines how players interact with the environment and face enemies.

The class system maintains the classic division of the original, with eight options confirmed for the global launch: Clérigo, Templário, Gladiador, Patrulheiro, Assassino, Feiticeiro, Mestre Espiritual and Chantre. Cada class preserves distinct roles within the group, allowing for different combat strategies and specialization. Combat requires no automation, requiring players to manually dodge and actively chain skills, with energy meter management and maneuvers in three-dimensional space.

PvE content includes more than 200 dungeons organized in solo formats, groups of four or eight participants, and raids for up to 200 players simultaneously. PvP returns with fights between Elyos and Asmodianos factions in Abismo, organized arenas and exclusive aerial battlefields. The development team refined the project based on feedback from the Asian community, focusing on adjusting the experience for a global audience, especially combat performance and accessibility.
