Departamento of Defesa of Estados Unidos has released a new set of official documents on sightings of unidentified flying objects. The release took place this Friday. The records contain detailed descriptions given by witnesses who reported the presence of green spheres, disks and fireballs in American airspace. The material makes up an extensive database on aerial events without immediate explanation.

Esta disclosure represents the second stage of a process of declassification of government files. The measure complies with an executive order signed by President Donald Trump. The central objective of the initiative is to increase public transparency in relation to unidentified anomalous phenomena, known by the acronym UAP in English. The effort resumes discussions that began in the 1970s about rigorous monitoring of national airspace.

Historical Registros at Sandia Military Installation

The recent batch encompasses a total of 222 files declassified by the American government. A significant portion of this material focuses on investigations conducted at a high security facility located in Sandia, in the state of Novo México. The specific document about this region has 116 pages. The texts detail an ongoing series of sightings recorded by military personnel and local researchers.

The events documented in Novo México occurred in a specific time window, between the years 1948 and 1950. Este period coincided with a phase of intense military research and development activity in the post-war scenario. Departamento of Defesa recorded 209 consistent reports in this location alone. Witnesses repeatedly described the appearance of green orbs and luminous disks in the immediate vicinity of the base.

The concentration of reports in military test areas has always generated debate among national security experts. The Sandia facility operated sensitive defense projects during the inception of Guerra Fria. Constant monitoring of the skies in this region resulted in an atypical volume of anomalous records. The now-public documents show how officials at the time tried to catalog and understand intrusions into restricted airspace.

Observações spacecraft during mission Apollo 12

The released files also contain information about incidents that occurred outside the Earth’s atmosphere. One of the most notable cases involves the crew of the Apollo 12 Moon Landing space mission. The records detail the testimony of Commander Charles “Pete” Conrad, Command Module Pilot Richard “Dick” Gordon, and Lunar Module Pilot Alan L. Bean. The three astronauts reported unusual visual experiences during the trip.

The report was formalized during a routine medical assessment after the crew returned to Terra. Astronauts described seeing sudden flashes and light trails. Esses phenomena occurred in moments of rest, while the team tried to sleep in the darkness of the spacecraft. The absence of external visual stimuli made the internal lights even more evident to the crew.

The documentation reveals that the observations generated extensive internal discussions at the space agency and the defense department. Doctors and engineers evaluated several hypotheses to explain the light trails. The analysis considered everything from the impact of cosmic rays on the astronauts’ retinas to particle reflections around the module. The formal record of the event demonstrates the technical rigor applied to data collection during lunar missions.

Diretrizes government transparency Donald Trump

The current data release policy follows a schedule established at the beginning of the year. The first package of files was made available to the public on May 8. The action fulfills a direct order from the president of Estados Unidos, Donald Trump. Para to centralize information, the government created the official portal WAR.GOV/UFO. The site serves as a permanent digital repository for all declassified records of anomalous phenomena.

Defesa’s secretary, Pete Hegseth, expressed institutional support for the data open policy. The manager argued that the prolonged retention of documents, photographs and videos only fueled unfounded speculation in society. The new directive seeks to transfer the knowledge accumulated in military coffers into the public domain. The strategy aims to mitigate conspiracy theories by exposing documented facts.

In February, Donald Trump issued clear instructions for government agencies to make materials about alien life, UAPs and UFOs public. Departamento of Guerra highlighted that the current administration promotes an unprecedented level of transparency on the topic. The official statement included criticism of previous administrations. Segundo note, past governments adopted positions that sought to discredit the American population’s interest in the subject.

Classificação technical and infrared sensor images

The official terminology adopted by the American government has undergone adaptations over the years. The acronym UAP is currently used to classify aerial observations that do not find an immediate explanation in conventional aviation or meteorological data. The absence of identification does not automatically imply confirmation of extraterrestrial origin. The term simply indicates that military analysts were unable to determine the exact nature of the object with the information available.

Departamento of Guerra encourages participation from the civilian scientific community in data analysis. The body seeks to integrate the expertise of the private sector to decipher cases classified as unsolved. External collaboration is seen as essential for the advancement of investigations. The government also committed to publishing periodic reports on incidents that eventually receive a definitive explanation.

  • Registros of green orbs and fireballs documented in 209 occurrences at the Sandia military base, in the state of Novo México, between the years 1948 and 1950.
  • Relatos of flashes and light trails observed by astronauts Charles “Pete” Conrad, Richard “Dick” Gordon and Alan L. Bean during mission Apollo 12.
  • Captação images from infrared sensors attached to Estados Unidos military platforms during recent monitoring operations.

The second batch of declassified files includes high-precision audiovisual material. The images released were captured by infrared sensors operated by different military commands. One of the released videos was recorded in 2022, within the US Comando Central’s area of responsibility. The thermal equipment allowed the tracking of anomalous heat signatures in the monitored airspace.

Outros visual records complement the public database. One of the images dates from 2021, also under the jurisdiction of Comando Central from the USA. A third video file was recorded in 2023, this time in the US Comando Norte operating area. The materials were initially submitted to a confidential intelligence network before going through the declassification process. The inclusion of video evidence reinforces the government’s commitment to factual documentation of aerial phenomena.
