Chinese automaker Zeekr has officially started its commercial operations at Espanha with the introduction of four fully electric vehicle models. The brand belongs to the Geely group and operates specifically in the premium automotive segment. The arrival in the European country takes place through an initial network made up of seven dealers already in full operation. The focus is on high standards. The company has set a goal of registering 600 units by the end of 2026, marking a new phase in the region’s energy transition.

The strategic move aims to position the Asian manufacturer as a direct competitor to the traditional German brands that dominate the luxury sector at Europa. The Spanish operation is in partnership with Salvador Caetano Auto, a company designated to manage the import of cars and coordinate technical assistance services throughout the territory. The business plan foresees rapid territorial capillarity over the next few months to sustain sales volume. The long-term goal stipulates reaching 3,500 vehicle deliveries by the end of 2028.

Estratégia commercial and expansion goals in the European market

Entry into Spanish territory consolidates Zeekr’s presence in 16 countries on the European continent. The company’s management assesses the local scenario as a dynamic and highly receptive environment for new sustainable mobility technologies. The manufacturer’s expansion schedule includes the future opening of commercial operations in Portugal, França, Itália and Alemanha. The Geely group uses the vast experience acquired with other brands in its portfolio, such as Volvo and Polestar, to structure the technological and logistical base of the new subsidiary.

The initial distribution network concentrates points of sale in strategic regions with high commercial volume and purchasing power. The current structure encompasses three dealers in the capital Madrid, two units in Barcelona, in addition to physical stores in the cities of Málaga and Valência. Corporate planning determines the expansion of this infrastructure to 16 service points distributed across 13 Spanish provinces before the end of the current year. The alliance with Salvador Caetano Auto guarantees the standardization of customer service and operational efficiency at Península Ibérica.

Technological Plataforma and attributes of Zeekr 001 and Zeekr

The Chinese manufacturer’s global portfolio currently has ten different cars in production. Operations at Espanha selected four of these vehicles for the initial commercial launch phase. Todos the brand’s electric cars use the Sustainable Experience Architecture modular base, developed exclusively by the engineers of the Geely group. The technical architecture allows the integration of 400 volt and 800 volt electrical systems. The flexibility of the platform makes it possible to produce different categories of bodies with high energy efficiency and structural safety.

The Zeekr 001 model represents the main highlight of the product line offered to Spanish drivers at this first moment. The vehicle has the shape of a sports station wagon, known in the automotive market as a shooting brake, and measures 4.95 meters long by 1.99 meters wide. The rear luggage compartment accommodates 539 liters, while the front space offers an additional 31 liters for small objects. The entry-level Long Range RWD version delivers 200 kW of power, equivalent to 272 horsepower. The 100 kWh battery provides an approved range of 620 kilometers.

The manufacturer offers the model in three different engine configurations and interior finishes. The sales values already include the discounts applied by the automaker during the official launch period in the country:

800-Volt Arquitetura Boosts Zeekr 7X Sport Utility

The automaker’s catalog includes the Zeekr 7X midsize sports utility vehicle, positioned in the D segment. The vehicle introduces the 800-volt electrical architecture to the product line offered at Espanha dealerships. Advanced technology allows the system to achieve peak charging power of up to 480 kW at compatible ultra-fast stations. The external dimensions are 4.78 meters long, 1.93 meters wide and 1.65 meters high. The main trunk holds 539 liters of useful volume for passengers.

Front storage space varies between 42 liters and 66 liters, depending strictly on the version chosen by the buyer. Chegada of the Zeekr 7GT sedan and aftermarket structure

The company’s launch schedule foresees the later arrival of the Zeekr 7GT model at Spanish dealerships. The vehicle features the classic body of a three-box sedan, aimed primarily at family and executive use. The car measures 4.81 meters long and 1.91 meters wide. The dual storage system includes a 456-liter rear luggage compartment and a 65-liter front compartment. The Privilege version reduces the front space to 32 liters due to the allocation of additional mechanical components of the all-wheel drive system.

The sedan’s pricing strategy seeks to attract corporate and fleet customers, in addition to the traditional end consumer. The entry-level Core RWD version costs 45,675 euros, delivering 310 kW of power and 519 kilometers of range with a 75 kWh battery. The Long Range RWD model requires an investment of 52,890 euros to provide the same power, but with a 100 kWh battery and an extended range of 655 kilometers. The Privilege AWD option reaches 475 kW of power, costs 59,325 euros and runs 558 kilometers on a full charge of energy.

The Asian brand’s commercial operation implements a comprehensive package of services to retain owners and ensure the security of their investment. Todos cars sold in Spain leave the factory with a ten-year warranty included as standard. Extended coverage represents a strong competitive differentiator in the luxury electric vehicle segment. The company has structured a logistics center for the distribution of spare parts in the city of Mejorada del Campo. The installation centralizes the shipping of components to ensure agility in maintenance and repair processes across the entire authorized network, minimizing customer waiting times.
