Ebola testing rules out disease in a patient at the Emilio Ribas Institute; meningitis is confirmed in SP

A patient admitted to Instituto from Infectologia Emilio Ribas, in São Paulo, had the diagnosis of Ebola ruled out by recent tests. The man already presented a suspicious condition that led to the investigation of the infectious disease. Agora, the patient received a positive diagnosis for meningitis.

The 37-year-old individual was included in the surveillance protocol for Ebola after returning from a recent trip to República Democrática from Congo (DRC).
