The MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ has emerged in the first hands-on ahead of the official opening of Computex 2026. The portable device combines high-performance hardware with a design aimed at gaming on the go. Fabricante showed the device with complete configurations and first performance figures.

The portable console runs Windows 11 and uses the new Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor. Ele positions itself as a premium option in the handheld segment.

The heart of the device is the Intel Arc G3 Extreme. The SoC features 14 CPU cores, divided into 2 P-Cores, 8 E-Cores and 4 LP E-Cores. The graphics part is handled by the Intel Arc B390, with 12 Xe3 cores.

The maximum clock speed reaches 4.70 GHz. Consumption varies between 25 W at base and up to 80 W at peak. Essa range allows balance between performance and autonomy. The model shown has 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of NVMe SSD.

The display measures 8 inches with 1920×1200 resolution. The IPS panel supports FreeSync between 48 and 120 Hz, 500 nits brightness and full coverage of the sRGB space.

Initial Testes shows good performance on Forza Horizon 6

The first tests at the stand indicated positive results. Em Forza Horizon 6, the device reached an average of 80 frames per second on battery. The test used XeSS 3 with multi-frame generation enabled.
