The top manager of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, had his total gross remuneration calculated at 4.8 million dollars, equivalent to approximately R$25 million, referring to the year 2025. The information was made public in the transparency report that the organization published on its official portal, with the amount expected to be effective in 2026.

At the head of the entity since 2016, Infantino accounted for an amount of 2.6 million dollars, approximately R$13.5 million, as his gross base salary. Additionally, he received a bonus totaling 2.2 million dollars, or R$11.5 million, with this portion of the bonus adjusted annually.

The initiative to publicize the salaries of its employees was adopted by FIFA in 2019, a movement aligned with governance practices and greater transparency in the international sporting scene. In the initial period of this new policy, Gianni Infantino recorded a combined gross income of 2.9 million dollars, equivalent to approximately R$15 million at the exchange rate at the time, distributed between his fixed salary and additional amounts.

Gianni Infantino’s current term as president of the International Federation of Association Football will extend until 2027. His reappointment to the position took place in March 2023, being validated by acclamation by all 211 confederations that make up the organization.
