The life of Katia Aveiro, sister of renowned player Cristiano Ronaldo, in Serra Gaúcha, is a fusion of business ventures and a private journey. Married to Alexandre Bertolucci Júnior, a native of the region, the Portuguese businesswoman established a strong connection with Rio Grande do Sul, shaping her own history and investments in the place.
Her first visit to Gramado, her husband’s hometown, in 2017, marked a crucial moment. That initial visit gradually turned into a decision to move permanently, solidifying his bond with the city.
Impressed with the location, Katia chose to settle down with her family, choosing the central area of the municipality to live.
New Strategies and Commercial Ventures in Gramado
This new phase included the making of several investments. In 2018, a year after moving, she opened the Casa Aveiro by Dolores restaurant in Gramado, a space that celebrated gastronomy and the history of the Portuguese family.
Although the enterprise operated for a time, it eventually ceased operations, completing the family’s first business foray into the city.
Despite the restaurant’s closure, its connection with Serra Gaúcha remained strong, paving the way for the development of other initiatives.
In January, Katia and her spouse revealed a significant breakthrough, entering a distinct market segment. Together with other family members, they established Incorporadora Ursa and presented their inaugural project, Residencial Flag.
The construction of the building is planned for one of the most noble areas of Gramado, on Avenida Borges de Medeiros, directly in front of Rótula das Bandeiras. With delivery estimated for 2028, the project has already begun the reservation phase, with apartments available from R$2.3 million, highlighting the commitment to a high-end market in the region.
The Trajectory and Multifacets of Katia Aveiro
Currently, almost ten years after her initial contact with Gramado, Katia’s narrative in Serra Gaúcha is intertwined between her intimate life, ventures and recent financial investments.
Additionally, she works as a digital influencer, maintains a music career and manages her own clothing and accessories line.
In the year 2024, a video recording of her enjoying a pastry and beer with friends in Gravataí, in a relaxed way, achieved great repercussion on digital platforms.
The family heritage linked to football is perpetuated in the younger generations; One of his sons, Dinis Pereira, signed his first professional contract this month, a training agreement with Vitória de Guimarães, in Portugal.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Katia’s youngest brother, forms the family nucleus alongside Elma and Hugo. The family patriarch, Dinis Aveiro, passed away in 2005.
Expectations for Cristiano Ronaldo’s Last World Cup
Katia revealed that she is organizing her trip to the United States to watch what will probably be Cristiano Ronaldo’s final participation in a World Cup. At 41 years old, the athlete is looking for one of the few trophies still missing from his vast collection, having been voted the best player on the planet five times.
Through a post on her social media, made this Tuesday (9), Katia expressed her emotion and desire to fully experience the last World Cup that her brother will participate in.
She stated: “My main objective is the farewell, the memories I will accumulate, the intensity of the emotion I will feel, the sport I will watch, the dispute I will follow and the feelings that will surround me.”
In a video in stories, Katia narrated that she was approached by a woman in a supermarket, who asked if she would watch the games, to which she responded affirmatively. The surprising question, according to Katia, was about her choice of clothing. Although she enjoys dressing well, the Portuguese woman emphasized that she will prioritize comfort.
“Certainly, my brother’s national team shirt, which he has already worn, will be present”, he highlighted. And he concluded: “I will go with the colors of my nation, I can even customize some pants with the colors of my country, but I will not wear high heels. I can guarantee that. I will opt for my comfortable sneakers.”
Cristiano Ronaldo’s first match at the 2026 World Cup will take place on June 17th at 2pm. Portugal will face the DR Congo team at the NRG Stadium, located in Houston, Texas, United States.
