Xiaomi has started rolling out the long-awaited June security package for several of its smartphones. The new HyperOS 3, which includes dozens of important fixes, is being gradually released for five specific Xiaomi and Redmi models, covering users in China and the European Economic Area (EEA).
Crucial protections introduced in new security update
This new wave of security updates aims to eliminate several weaknesses that could compromise user experience. Among the threats addressed are critical vulnerabilities present in the Android Framework and the Android operating system itself. The fixes also cover defense against privilege escalation, both remote and local, as well as robust protection against denial of service attacks and potential leaks of sensitive data.

Updates are distributed in two different formats to ensure the most appropriate protection for each scenario. The first, dated 01-06-2026, is aimed at devices with Android 14, 15 and 16, including the Android 16 QPR2 version, and offers additional fixes for the Google Play System. The second package, dated 05-06-2026, incorporates all the fixes from the previous version and also adds specific security optimizations developed by Qualcomm, MediaTek, Unisoc and Imagination PowerVR GPUs, showing a coordinated effort for a more comprehensive defense.

The first cell phone models to be covered by this recent update are:
- Xiaomi 15 Pro:Receives version OS3.0.304.0. WOBCNXM patched 01-06 in China.
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra:Included with version OS3.03.30.0. WOACNXM, containing patch 01-06, also for the Chinese market.
- Xiaomi 15T Pro:Available with version OS3.03.04.0. WOSEUXM and patch 01-06 for the European Economic Area (EEA).
- Redmi K70 Ultra:Specific details about the version were not disclosed by the Ximitime portal.
- Xiaomi 14T Pro:The update arrives with version OS3.0.302.0. WNNEUXM and patch 01-06 in the EEA.
In addition to important security improvements, the new HyperOS builds contribute significantly to the overall stability of the operating system. For complete protection, it is strongly recommended that users also keep system applications updated to their latest versions.
