Cosmetic items inspired by Spider-Man and the Punisher were added to Fortnite on July 30. The partnership with Marvel introduced new costumes and other accessories to Epic Games’ popular Battle Royale as part of the v41.30 update. This recent addition to the game marks the release of the fictional film “Spider-Man: A New Day”, which features Tom Holland, Zendaya and Sadie Sink in the cast.
Access to Fortnite is free and can be accessed on multiple platforms, such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, as well as Android and iPhone (iOS) mobile devices and personal computers.

Spider-Man and Punisher costumes arrive with special details
Spider-Man’s new costume replicates the uniform seen on actor Tom Holland in his recent theatrical production. Epic Games announced in a statement that the design is inspired by the three cinematic representations of the arachnid hero. It’s the Punisher’s debut in Fortnite, with a look that recalls Jon Bernthal’s performance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Each costume is available for around 1,500 V-Bucks. The themed items were made available in the Fortnite Store at 9pm Brasília time. The “Spider-Man: A New Day Bundle” offered the following components:

- Two costumes: Spider-Man (A New Day) and Punisher
- Two back accessories: Arachno Backpack and Frank’s Surprise Backpack
- Two pickaxes: Mangual de Teia and Arsenal do Frank
- A gesture: Spider-sense
The “Web Shooters” item, which gives players the ability to move around the map quickly without fall damage, has returned to the game. So that the community could experience this functionality, two events called “Hour of Power”, with the presence of Web Slingers, took place on August 1st, at 3pm and 10pm, featuring exclusive content for a set period:
- Unlimited Spider-Man Web Shooters
- Spider-Man themed chests with highest appearance rate
- Cubic Elementals appearing more frequently
This is not the first time that the acclaimed arachnid hero has been incorporated into the famous shooter game. Fortnite has already featured nine different versions of Spider-Man, including outfits based on “No Way Home”, Miles Morales, Spider-Man 2099 and Spider-Man Zero.
